Margot B. takes the stage with grace, performing for troops stationed in Cuba
Sultry singer/songwriter tours with Armed Forces Entertainment

Pittsburgh native Margot B. will tour with Armed Forces Entertainment performing for troops stationed in Cuba, March 5-9. Her sultry sound is a fusion of R&B, jazz and pop with roots in reggae and soul.

“Supporting our troops is a must. If I can bring some excitement and entertainment to them, it’s the least I can do for everything they do for our country every day,” said Margot B.

Following the path of her self-proclaiming song “I’m a Queen,” her career is climbing musical royalty, opening for pop sensations Kelly Clarkson and the Black Eyed Peas. Considered one of her highest achievements, Margot B. performed for a Hurricane Katrina Benefit at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh for a crowd of 9,000 and a crowd of 60,000 as the opening act for the Black Eyed Peas.

“The military audience is sure to find Margot B. entertaining with her diverse lyrical sound and passionate disposition,” said Air Force Captain A. Semrau, Armed Forces Entertainment Pacific circuit manager. “She sets herself apart from other artists by focusing not only on her work as an up-and-coming singer/songwriter, but as a caring individual who utilizes her talent to give back to the community.”

Developing a reputation for being the ‘go to’ performer for many important causes, Margot B. has found herself raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for such worthy causes as Breast Cancer, Cancer, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hurricane Katrina victims and various youth homes and private organizations. She recently received a proclamation from the City of Pittsburgh for her role in the Katrina Relief Concert.
